GREETINGS FROM REDBARN
What a warm winter. Remember last years snow and ice storms? Those 30 degree days went on....and on. Frozen water buckets, cement bags of grain, chapped fingers and toes. This year we are basking in spring like days that bring EVERYBODY out.
Our rainy days stay busy too, as our riders practice their bareback skills. What better way to learn balance, leg strength and the REAL meaning behind those cryptic instructor directions...inside and outside of the horses spine, etc. And watch out next fun show - we have some emergency dismount divas for the counting poles competition.
The homeschool program has over 35 students on the books. Redbarn is so happy we can provide this budget friendly introduction to the horse world. Parents, you repay us by your glowing word of mouth recommendations AND your own ventures into the riding ring. It truly has become a family affair!
We were sorry to lose one of our wonderful family teams to transfer. WE MISS YOU ZELMANOVITCHES! (And just when we finally got little Sarah 'trained'.) Really, our REDBARN students become like family after a while and it is hard to see any of you go.
We have great new plans for the next year. A levels program with graduation certificates and celebrations. At least 2 outside shows and our regular fun shows and academy shows. What about a club with activities like junior judging , training, etc. ??/ Possibilities are endless!!
We are starting with a clinic for basic dressage given by English educated instructor Charis Dickson. Welcome Charis! She can help with basic jumping also. REDBARN would love to turn out riders with a working knowledge of all disciplines. Seems we are on the way.
THANKS Missy and Joe Hinson for supporting all our efforts and for allowing us all these wonderful opportunities at LARKSPUR RANCH. You guys are 'a barn in a million!"
KEEP CHECKING UPCOMING EVENTS FOR LAST MINUTE STUFF!! We are coming up with new adventures all the time.
SEE YOU AT THE REDBARN!
